The National Association of EMTs (NAEMT) elected its officers and board members during the association’s Board of Governors meeting in Las Vegas on September 29.
Serving the association in the coming year will be:
President: Jerry Johnston, Mount Pleasant, Iowa;
President-Elect: Patrick F. Moore, Conway, Arkansas;
Vice President: Connie Meyer, MICT, Greeley, Kansas;
Treasurer: Edward J. Sawicki, Sausalito, California;
Secretary: Robert A. Loftus, Virden, Illinois;
Directors: Augie Bamonti, Chicago Heights, Illinois; Will Chapleau, Chicago Heights, Illinois; Richard Ellis, Warner-Robins, Georgia; Jennifer Frenette, Lancaster, New Hampshire; and Jim Slattery, Norton, Massachusetts; and
Immediate Past President: Kenneth J. Bouvier, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Board members Chapleau and Ellis will serve two-year terms, while board members Bamonti, Frenette and Slattery will serve one-year terms. This staggered installation is part of the new bylaws, which were approved at the General Membership Meeting on September 27.
