Linda M. Abrahamson, BA, RN, EMTP is an EMS Education Coordinator at Silver Cross Hospital/Joliet Junior College, Joliet, Illinois. She currently manages a community college paramedic program and continuing education courses for Will and Grundy counties in Illinois. She is a active flight paramedic and emergency room registered nurse. Linda has served many local and national EMS leadership roles within NAEMT and other organizations. She as served as a representative for the 1999 EMS DOT curriculum revision process, Chairperson of the NAEMT I/C Instructor Division, NAEMT Executive Council, and chairs the Advanced Medical Life Support Executive Committee. She has served as past-president of the National Association of EMS Educators. Currently she is active with the National Education Standards Taskforce.
