EMS & Rescuer Relief Fund

The NAEMT Foundation established the EMS and Rescuer Relief Fund in 2001 following the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Through this fund, the NAEMT Foundation provides relief to EMS personnel and their families who are affected by a disaster or catastrophic event.

The EMS & Rescuer Relief Fund disseminated $107,553 to the families of EMS providers who lost their lives while responding to the attacks in 2001. In addition, the fund provided more than $175,000 to EMS providers who were affected by the hurricanes in 2005.
