PHTLS Awards:
Dr. Norman E. McSwain Jr. PHTLS Leadership Award is presented to an individual who has contributed significantly to PHTLS, and who demonstrates leadership at a national level. Award candidates can be nominated by anyone; recipient is chosen by the PHTLS Executive Council. Candidates can be nominated by applying in writing to the PHTLS Director at Head Office (email: phtls@naemt.org). This award is presented at the NAEMT/EMS Today Conference.
Dr. Scott B. Frame Service Award is presented to a PHTLS Instructor who contributes significantly to the development of PHTLS and to making the programmeprogram accessible to all providers. Award candidates are nominated by members of the Executive Council; recipient is chosen by the PHTLS Executive Council. This award is presented at the annual Scott B. Frame Memorial Lecture.
Appreciation Awards are awarded to those individuals whose contributions to PHTLS are especially of note. Candidates are nominated by the Executive Council and are presented during the annual PHTLS general meeting held at the NAEMT/EMS Today Conference.
Military Awards are awarded to PHTLS Military Faculty whom have made significant contributions to PHTLS. Candidates are nominated by the Executive Council and are presented during the annual PHTLS general meeting held at the NAEMT/EMS Today Conference.
