The NEMSIS Team is seeking your help in determining which elements should be a part the National dataset and state-level datasets. The team has currently posted a proposed list of elements that should be considered National and/or state-level elements. Keep in mind that elements considered “national” will be “required” for all state datasets. For elements considered “state-level”, we will “request” that states consider these elements for inclusion in their state-level datasets. This posting of the NEMSIS wiki represents an opportunity for public comments. The comment period will be open until September 15th, 2010 and comments will only be accepted via the wiki.

We ask that you review three lists we have prepared:

1) elements proposed as National elements;

2) elements proposed as State-level elements and;

3) elements that have not been proposed for inclusion at the national or state level.
