The Federal Interagency Committee on EMS (FICEMS) has provided an update to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in regards to two recommendations (A-09-102) the Board suggested to FICEMS in 2009: Develop national guidelines for the use and availability of helicopter emergency medical transport by regional, state, and local authorities during emergency medical response system planning.
