Bob is a charter member of NAEMT, the I/C Division, and founder of the Military Division. Over the years, he has served NAEMT as secretary and was a member of the old Executive Board, and on the Board of Directors. He has filled the positions of chairperson, vice-chair, and secretary-treasurer for both the I/C and Military Divisions. Bob currently owns a small EMS education/consulting business, EMTChief & Associates, in Marion, Illinois.

A 30-year veteran of the Air Force, he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. Bob is a 34-year volunteer AHA BLS instructor/Regional Faculty in eight states. He is currently a BLS Regional Faculty member for the Central/Southern Illinois Region and a member of the Illinois Region ECC Task Force.
