Charlene DonahueDirector, Region IVE-mail: director.cd@naemt.orgCharlene has had the opportunity to work from rural to large urban EMS systems both in British Columbia, Canada, and in California during her 26-year EMS career.She began her career as an EMT in a remote island community in northern British Columbia and soon became an EMS educator as well. She moved to the San Francisco Bay area, where she has spent the past 20-plus years as a field paramedic, clinical training leader, EMS educator and EMS advocate. Charlene has served as chair and/or co-chair on clinical practice and prehospital audit committees, stroke and cardiac task forces and as president and vice president of San Francisco Paramedic Association. Since 2001, she has represented California on the NAEMT Board of Governors and participated in the paramedic division and membership committees. In 2004, she was selected as both a California and a National Star of Life for her clinical excellence and professional advocacy. <<Back
