Pamela Cohen is the executive director of NAEMT. Prior to joining NAEMT, Cohen served as Principal and Vice President of Operations for Homeowner Communities Online, located in Brandon, Mississippi. This company provides website software for condo and homeowner associations and association management companies. She also served as deputy executive director for the National Parent and Teacher Association in Chicago and as the executive vice president of the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago.

Cohen holds a master of arts in strategic communications from Seton Hall University and a bachelor of arts in political science from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Rotary Club and the Illinois Public Interest Research Group.
