Chuck has been involved in EMS for 30 years. Born in NYC, he began his career as a Florida open-water lifeguard and was certified as an EMT two years later. He has worked most of his career in Pinellas County, Florida - EMS/Sunstar. He is the former Pinellas EMS & Fire director. Chuck currently works for a hospital-based, not-for-profit ambulance provider based in the Midwest.

In addition to his EMS knowledge, Chuck has an MBA degree in Marketing and Information Systems.
