Jules is Senior Staff Paramedic and the CQI/IT/Data Coordinator for Sac County Ambulance service in Sac City, Iowa. She also is an EMS educator for area community colleges, an EMS textbook author and past Iowa Rural AED Grant Coordinator. She has spent the past 18 years working in urban and rural communities as both a volunteer and career EMS practitioner and an EMS educator. Jules has been an active member of NAEMT and serves on the Advocacy Committee. 

She also has represented EMS on numerous state and national committees and is Secretary of the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride "Muddy Angels," which brings attention to LODD and safety issues for EMS practitioners. Additionally, Jules is a Founder of the National EMS Museum. She serves on the Board of Directors for Sioux Lakes EMS Associates and is Past President of Buena Vista County EMS Association.
