KC has been involved with EMS for more than 30 years. He is a long-time member of NAEMT (with a membership number of 44).

His vocation in EMS has spanned from being a Basic EMT for a rural hospital to a Paramedic in an urban medical center.  His passion for teaching has ranged from teaching community CPR to Paramedics, with recognition from the Arkansas EMT Association twice as Instructor of the Year in 1992 & 2007.

His involvement in his community has led him to become active in the American Heart Association.  Currently he is a member of the Emergency Cardiac Care Committee for American Heart Association in Arkansas.  He is co-chair of the Boone County Local Emergency Planning Committee where he serves as Volunteer Coordinator for disaster preparedness.

KC is the director of EMS programs for North Arkansas College. He represents EMS on the Arkansas Governor’s Trauma Advisory Council, and he serves on two NAEMT Committees: Education and Health and Safety.
