The NAEMT staff assists the Board of Directors in carrying out the work of the association by managing the organization’s operations in accordance with the policies established by the Board. NAEMT maintains a Headquarters Office at which their work is carried out.


Pamela Lane
Executive Director

Pam Lane is the Executive Director of NAEMT, a position she has held since 2007. She is responsible for the management of NAEMT’s headquarters operations and staff, and supports the NAEMT Board of Directors in carrying out the work of the association.

Pam has devoted her career to association management, and previously served in executive positions at Rotary International, the Institute of Real Estate Management, and the National Parent Teachers Association. Pam holds a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from Seton Hall University in New Jersey, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Ill. She is a member of the Franklin Honor Society.


Lisa Lindsay
Assistant Executive Director/Operations Director

Lisa Lindsay, Assistant Executive Director, is responsible for the management of NAEMT's business operations, including finance, technology, member and education services, as well as meetings planning. She has worked at NAEMT since 1994.

Lisa is a Certified Association Executive with Associate of Science degrees in computer operations and programming from Phillips College. Prior to working at NAEMT, her association work began as an independent contractor with the Mississippi Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives.


Melissa M. Trumbull
Industry Relations Director

Melissa Trumbull, Industry Relations Manager, establishes and maintains relationships with companies and organizations within the EMS industry, and negotiates corporate partnerships. She also supports NAEMT’s membership outreach efforts and member coordinator network.

Melissa has worked with NAEMT since 2009. She previously worked at Association and Society Management International, Inc. (ASMII) and provided association management services to Advocates for EMS (AEMS), the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), the National Association of State EMS Officials, and the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from State University of New York College at Brockport, and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives.


Kim Krenik

Kim Champi Krenik
Government Relations Manager

Kim Krenik worked for many years as the director of Federal Relations for the New Jersey Hospital Association. She represented the interests and concerns of NJHA members and coordinated advocacy efforts within the state and in Washington, DC. Kim attended Congressional briefings and hearings, and helped draft numerous legislative documents and member advocacy updates. She also served as principle for NJHA's HealthPAC and coordinated political fundraisers and events.

Before that, Kim worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant to a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. She attended the School for International Training in Kenya, Africa, and completed her bachelor's degree at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.



Kathleen Taormina

Kathleen Taormina
Marketing and Media Manager

Kathleen Taormina is responsible for the association’s corporate and member communications, social media, marketing and media relations.

With more than 15 years of association management experience, Kathleen's career focus has been in the areas of healthcare and technology. She previously worked for the American Pharmaceutical Association and the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, and has provided communications and marketing services to several other associations and organizations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Michigan State University.


Jenifer Goodwin

Jenifer Goodwin
Communication Projects Manager

Jenifer Goodwin develops and administers association programs and projects, and writes articles and other publications for NAEMT.

Jenifer previously served as associate editor of Best Practices in Emergency Services and author of the 2013-2014 Ambulance Industry Report. Her interviews and analyses have been published in leading EMS and public safety publications, including JEMS and EMS World. Goodwin is also a former staff writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune. Jenifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Penn State University.​


Cindy Bussell

Cindy Bussell
Meetings and Leadership Services Manager
Cindy Bussell manages the association's meetings, exhibits, awards programs, leadership travel and governance activities. She also provides support to the NAEMT Foundation Board of Trustees.
Cindy has more than 25 years of association management and meetings planning experience. She helped implement a large grant program and was a fundraiser for a charitable organization. A member of the Indiana Society of Association Executives, Cindy holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Ball State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.


Corine Curd
Course Site Development Manager

Corine Curd has worked with NAEMT’s education programs since 1996. In her current role as Education Services Manager, she provides support to NAEMT course sites and instructors, and works with our network of volunteer leaders in the United States and abroad to offer NAEMT education courses around the world.

Prior to working at NAEMT, Corine enjoyed a successful career in sales. She is currently working towards her Bachelor's degree in Business Management through Phoenix University.


Tammie W. Patterson
Membership Development Manager

Tammie Patterson joined the NAEMT team in 2009. As Member Services Manager, Patterson oversees the processing of all membership applications and member services. She works with NAEMT’s Membership Committee to recruit and retain members, manages our scholarship programs, and supports our Affiliate Advisory Council.

Prior to joining NAEMT, Tammie served as a payroll and scheduling specialist at American Medical Response. She holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Hinds Community College in Mississippi, and Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi.


Keshia Robinson
Service Center Manager

Keshia Robinson is the Assistant Business Manager for NAEMT. She has been with the association since 1999 and is responsible for managing association meeting logistics, and coordinating NAEMT’s financial and administrative processes. Keshia coordinates and executes the functions of NAEMT Service Center.

She holds an Associate's degree in Human Resource Management from Virginia College, and Computerized Office Technologies from Antonelli College.


Sylvia McGowan
Education Services Representative

Sylvia McGowan has worked at NAEMT since 2004. She provides administrative support to NAEMT's education programs, and assists our network of course sites and instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality continuing education to our students.

Prior to her work at NAEMT, Sylvia worked in sales.


Jody Phillips
Education Services Representative

Jody Phillips joined the NAEMT staff in 2013. He provides administrative support to NAEMT’s education programs and assists NAEMT’s network of regional and state coordinators for each of our education programs.

Prior to working at NAEMT, Jody worked as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher and EMT for American Medical Response. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, and is a Nationally Registered EMT.


Stacy Jackson
Member Services Representative

Stacy Jackson joined the NAEMT team in 2014. As Member Services Representative, Jackson maintains the records of individual and agency members, as well as other individuals with interest in NAEMT, and responds to member inquiries. She also assists the Member Services Manager in providing administrative support to the Membership Committee.

Stacy has more than eight years of administrative experience. Prior to joining NAEMT, she worked as an Executive Assistant to a bankruptcy attorney. Stacy holds an Associate's in Business Administration.
