Affiliation with NAEMT

NAEMT recognizes the importance of working collaboratively with other EMS associations to strengthen the EMS profession. We welcome affiliation with other organizations that represent and provide services to EMS practitioners. 

NAEMT provides regular updates to our affiliates through monthly online newsletters, quarterly printed newsletters and regular emails on our major activities, including representation at EMS conferences of other organizations and meetings of government agencies, pending federal legislation impacting EMS providers, and NAEMT’s position on such legislation. We also list affiliated associations on our website and provide a link back to the affiliate’s site.

The designated representatives of these associations and organizations comprise the Affiliate Advisory Council. This Council provides advice and guidance to the Board on issues of concern to the EMS community and on ways that NAEMT can strengthen and expand its support to EMS practitioners nationwide. The Council meets annually face-to-face during the NAEMT Annual Meeting and conducts its other meetings by conference call throughout the year.
