EMS Honor Guards
If your service has suffered a loss, you may want to help honor your fallen comrades by creating an EMS honor guard. EMS honor guards help memorialize EMS practitioners who have died in the line of duty, and they participate in memorial services, banquets, dedications, parades and other observances.
The first step in setting up an honor guard is to recruit volunteers. Next, you need to decide the types of observances in which you will participate. You will also need to select uniforms, create a practice schedule and establish the guard’s policies and procedures.
