Criteria: Administrator who has made a significant contribution to the EMS administration on a local, state or national level.
Eligibility: Any EMS administrator whose primary responsibility is the direction of individuals involved in the delivery of prehospital care.
Nominated by: Anyone
Winners receive: A plaque and a $1,000 stipend
This award is named for William Klingensmith, a former NAEMT secretary, governor and board member who also served as an ambulance service manager and ambulance service director in Pennsylvania.
