Criteria: Outstanding instructor of an ongoing training program for basic/intermediate EMTs or paramedics, which is approved by the state lead agency.
Eligibility: Any state approved I/C who is a member of NAEMT. Written endorsement from the training program medical director must accompany nomination.
Nominated by: Anyone
Winners receive: A plaque and a $1,000 stipend

This award is named for Mary Ann Talley, the program director of the EMS Training Department at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, who participated on many committees, advisory boards, regional EMS boards and work groups within Alabama, as well as on a national level.
