Beyond the Street EMS Supervisor Workshop
Monday, September 27, and Tuesday, September 28, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Beyond the Street workshop helps supervisors of EMS operations think and act like leaders, providing additional training in management effectiveness and skills. Participants acquire essential management skills, from working effectively with different generations in the workforce and handling conflict to building trust with peers, bosses and other agencies. Attendees learn when to be directive, when to coach and when to delegate - and how to earn respect from the EMS field personnel they once worked alongside. Additional strategies include handling complaints effectively and building customer satisfaction. Industry-leading faculty - Dr. Jay Fitch with Mike Ragone and David M. Williams (co-authors of the JEMS 200-City Survey) - guide participants in experiential and practical learning sessions that let them own their learning experience and leave with skills that will aid them on their next shift.
Faculty: Jay Fitch, PhD, and David M. Williams, MS, both of Fitch & Associates
Fee: $295
