NAEMT has streamlined the process for qualified NAEMT Instructors to become an AHDR, EMS Safety, GEMS or PTEP Instructor by taking the online Instructor Orientation. (See program specific exceptions.) 

Note:  NAEMT Instructors who complete the online Instructor Orientation course do NOT need to complete this form.  

Following completion of the program's provider course:

• Current AMLS and PHTLS Instructors may teach GEMS or AHDR without being monitored.
• Current Instructors for any NAEMT program may teach EMS Safety or PTEP without being monitored.   

If you meet the above criteria, complete the form below and submit to NAEMT to indicate your interest in becoming an instructor. Upon verification of current instructor status, you will receive your instructor card for the program of interest.
