NAEMT Presents Annual Awards

NAEMT presented its annual awards at the association’s Board of Governors Meeting on Saturday, Aug. 27, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The awards were originally scheduled to be presented at a banquet on Saturday evening, but that event was cancelled due to the approach of Hurricane Katrina.

Recognized for their contributions to the EMS community were:

    • Joseph T. Schnell, EMT-I/CC, Lake Preston, South Dakota: Robert E. Motley EMT of the Year, sponsored by JEMS Communications;
