Raphael M. Barishansky | The recipient of the prestigious ADPI/NAEMT Administrators Division - Harvard Executive Session Scholarship to Harvard University’s State and Local Government Senior Executives Program for 2006, is Raphael M. Barishansky of Teaneck, New Jersey. Under the Scholarship, Mr. Barishansky will attend Harvard University’s State and Local Government Senior Executives Program, a three-week leadership program held in July. Mr. Barishansky is Executive Director of the Hudson Valley Regional Emergency Medical Services Council in Newburgh, New York. He has served in that capacity since 2000. Mr. Barishansky will attend the summer session of the program in 2006.
This marks the second annual award of the Scholarship. Funding for the Scholarship is provided by ADPI under its partnership with NAEMT to promote the advancement of EMS executive leadership in the USA. NAEMT’s Administrators Division has also secured commitments from Harvard University and ADPI to offer the Scholarship for the 2007 summer session. Applications for the 2007 session will be accepted from January 1, 2006 from Division members. Completed submissions must be received at the NAEMT national offices by May 31, 2006.
