TACTICAL TRAINING FOR EMS

TECC 2 is coming soon
The 2nd edition of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course will be offered early next year. The 2nd edition of TECC includes extensive revisions from the 1st edition and is truly a civilian-focused tactical course for EMTs and paramedics. The content in the 2nd edition TECC course addresses the current TEMS domains and is consistent with the most recently released Committee on TECC guidelines. This edition of TECC offers all new patient simulations and tactical scenarios.

All Hazards Disaster Response

The All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) course teaches students how to respond to the many types of disaster scenarios they may encounter, including natural disasters and infrastructure failings, fires and radiological events, pandemics, active shooter incidents, and other mass casualty events. AHDR educates participants on how to analyze potential threats in their area, assess available resources, and create a response plan that will save lives.

PHTLS 9th Edition Update

PHTLS 9th edition is conducted as a 16-hour classroom course, or in a hybrid format with 8 hours online followed by 8 hours in the classroom. Also offered is 8 hours of PHTLS continuing education online. Lessons follow a case-based approach that encourages critical thinking and student engagement. Every lesson reflects the new XABCDE patient assessment approach and aligns with updated content from the textbook. The course includes mandatory skills stations and more time for patient simulations and individual skill practice. Available to instructors; coming for students in December 2018.
