World Trauma Symposium


Dr. Kenji Inaba will present the latest evidence on hemorrhage control as the first priority in the care of the trauma patient. Kenji Inaba, MD, FRCSC, FACS is an attending trauma surgeon at the LAC+USC Medical Center and associate professor, clinical scholar, of Surgery, Emergency Medicine and Anesthesia at the University of Southern California.

Learn from Dr. Inaba and other top speakers on pediatric cervical spine injury, use of REBOA in the prehospital setting, building resiliency to respond to trauma, advanced traumatic brain injury detection and management, the role of prehospital care in national trauma systems, and much more.

All Hazards Disaster Training

Training for disasters is difficult because disasters vary — floods, earthquakes, bus wrecks, active shooters, biological attacks, etc. NAEMT's All Hazards Disaster Response course uses real-life clinical scenarios to teach participants how to analyze potential threats, assess available resources, and create a response plan. AHDR is approved for 8 hours of CAPCE credit.

EVOS - Safe Driving

EMS Vehicle Operator Safety

NAEMT's EMS Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS) course focuses on the specific behaviors that need to be changed to create a culture of safe driving. The 8 or 16-hour course is approved for CAPCE credit. Students can choose classroom or online format, and print or digital materials. All current instructors of national driving courses can teach EVOS by taking the 1-hour online transition course.
