Intentional Injuries discussed at World Trauma Symposium
Mass casualty incidents arising from active shooters, vehicles used as weapons, stabbings or other weapons each require a specialized response to those injured. Michael Clumpner, PhD, MBA, NRP, will bring his experience as a firefighter, tactical paramedic, law enforcement officer, and SWAT team operator to the World Trauma Symposium, presenting on the unique wound patterns found at mass casualty events and how to care for those injured at the scene.
 
Learn from Michael and other top speakers on pediatric cervical spine injury, use of REBOA in the prehospital setting, building resiliency to respond to trauma, advanced traumatic brain injury detection and management, the role of prehospital care in national trauma systems, and much more.

Tactical Training For EMS

TECC 2ND ED

NAEMT's TECC 2nd edition course addresses TEMS domains and follows C-TECC guidelines. It includes focused MARCH assessment lessons and covers immediate action tourniquet drills in all lessons. The course also has simulations on all phases of patient care.

The TECC provider course is 16-hour classroom course for EMTs and paramedics. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as TECC providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit. Learn more
