Nominations are open for the 2014 National EMS Awards of Excellence, and will be accepted until August 1, 2014. The awards recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions within EMS. Submit your nomination – not only to recognize your candidate, but also to recognize the quality emergency patient care that is brought to your community every day. You can recognize your candidate(s) in the following categories:

• NAEMT/Braun Industries “EMT of the Year”
• NAEMT/Nasco “Paramedic of the Year”
• NAEMT/Jones & Bartlett Learning “EMS Educator of the Year”
• Dick Ferneau “Paid EMS Service of the Year”
• Impact “Volunteer EMS Service of the Year”

Award recipients receive a monetary award, three core program registrations, plus $1,000 for travel and lodging at the 2014 EMS World Expo / NAEMT Annual Meeting, November 9-13, in Nashville, Tenn. Recipients of these awards are also announced in EMS World Magazine and recognized at the opening ceremony of EMS World Expo. These awards will be presented at the NAEMT General Membership Meeting on November 10th in Nashville and the recipients will be recognized in NAEMT News.
