Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) has co-sponsored S. 2400, the Field EMS Bill (Field Innovation Act). This legislation was introduced on May 22 by Senators Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) and Tim Johnson (D-S.D.). It is a companion to H.R. 809, the Field EMS Quality, Innovation and Cost Effectiveness Improvement Act, introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on February 26, 2013, by Congressman Larry Bucshon (R-Ind.).
