• What are the requirements to conduct NAEMT courses outside of the United States?

  NAEMT’s training center requirements are the same for centers in the United States and other countries. All training centers must sign the NAEMT Training Center Agreement before they can conduct a course.

• What are the costs associated with becoming an approved NAEMT training center?

  NAEMT does NOT charge a fee to training centers to obtain approval to conduct NAEMT courses.  Read about the costs associated with conducting NAEMT courses, including the start-up costs here.

  
  
  

• How can my training center faculty become approved to teach NAEMT courses?

  NAEMT has an established process for approving new instructors.  Read the steps here.  In certain circumstances, some of these steps may be waived.  Read about the exceptions to instructor requirements here.
  
  
  

• Where can my training center purchase the NAEMT education course materials?

  NAEMT partners with the Public Safety Group (PSG) of Jones and Bartlett Learning.  PSG maintains a global network of distributors from which NAEMT course materials may be purchased.  Find the distributor in your area here.
  
  
  

• Outside of the United States, who provides quality assurance for NAEMT courses?

  In some countries, NAEMT has agreements with “national coordinating organizations” (NCO’s) to provide quality assurance for NAEMT courses, and other support. NCO’s assist NAEMT with the promotion, development and administration of NAEMT education courses in the country or region.  Not all countries have appointed NCO’s. NAEMT provides direct support to training centers in countries without NCO’s.
