NASEMSO has developed A National Strategy for EMS Specialty Certification as an approach to standardizing definitions, knowledge, skills, and evaluations for various EMS specialties. A needs assessment survey has been established to solicit stakeholder input on the viability and support for a collaborative effort to standardize the State approach to EMS specialties.
