NAEMT is pleased to welcome two new affiliates, the Wisconsin EMS Association (WEMSA) and the Clinton County (N.Y.) EMS Association (CCEMS), bringing the number of NAEMT affiliated organizations to 32.

NAEMT partners with state and local EMS organizations serving EMS practitioners throughout the country. These relationships help carry out NAEMT’s mission to strengthen the collective voice of the EMS community nationwide.

The Wisconsin EMS Association serves EMS practitioners throughout the state of Wisconsin and holds one of the largest EMS events in the U.S., the Working Together Emergency Services Midwest Conference & Exposition. The association also publishes a bimonthly magazine, EMS Professionals. WEMSA’s representative to the Affiliate Advisory Council is Richard Meeker.

“I think this partnership/affiliation will be good for EMS in general,” says Meeker, president and conference director of WEMSA. For more information about WEMSA, please visit www.wisconsinems.com.

The Clinton County (N.Y.) EMS Association serves EMS practitioners in northern New York state. Its representative to NAEMT’s Affiliate Advisory Council is Kent A. Faus. For more information about CCEMS, please visit www.ccemsassociation.com.

NAEMT strongly believes in the value of collaboration within the EMS community,” says Patrick Moore, NAEMT president. “By working with EMS associations throughout our country, we build a greater understanding of the needs of EMS practitioners and identify ways that we can better support them and the patients they serve. We thank the leadership of the Wisconsin EMS Association and the Clinton County, New York EMS Association for recognizing the importance of collaboration, and we look forward to working with them.”
