NAEMT seeks member to serve on FCC committee

NAEMT recently received notice from the Federal Communications Commission of the establishment of a new Advisory Committee comprised of public safety stakeholders to assist the Emergency Response Interoperability Center (ERIC) in developing and implementing technical and operational requirements and procedures.

NAEMT is interested in nominating one of our members to serve on this committee. We are looking for someone who has understanding of and experience with:

·         Development of interoperable public safety communications including VHF, 800 MHz, and wireless broadband networks;

·         All types of public safety communications equipment;

·         Interoperability at a local or regional level;

·         National integration and interoperability issues;

·         County, state, regional and/or national emergency communications and management.
