To help reduce the number and intensity of injuries incurred by EMS practitioners in carrying out their work, NAEMT's brand-new EMS Safety course aims to increase students' awareness and understanding of EMS safety standards and practices and develop their ability to effectively implement these practices when on duty. This course is designed for all EMS practitioners, other medical professionals providing prehospital patient care, EMS supervisors and administrators. The curriculum covers safety in emergency vehicles, at the operational scene and while handling patients, as well as patient, practitioner and bystander safety and personal health. Course manual provided. 


AMLS courseAdvanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) Instructor Update

For all recognized AMLS instructors, course coordinators, affiliate and regional faculty, this update features a newly designed AMLS assessment pathway, additional book chapters, and new content for the provider and instructor courses, including Master Level scenarios. Discussion will include an introduction to the new scenario format, and online and video scenario course components. Mosby/Elsevier is publishing the new first edition textbook and instructor resource. Join us to experience these new interactive and exciting additions to AMLS! Instructor DVD provided. Proof of current AMLS instructor status required.

PHTLSPrehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Seventh Edition Instructor Update

Orienting PHTLS faculty to the changes and updated material in the new PHTLS seventh edition text and courses, this course covers updates including the seventh edition Civilian and Military PHTLS text; the new PHTLS provider course; the new PHTLS Trauma First Response course for first responders; the new PHTLS refresher course; the new instructor training program and new online PHTLS course offerings. Instructor DVD provided. Proof of current PHTLS instructor status required.
