NIOSH has posted a web page highlighting emergency medical services (EMS) practitioner safety and health. In addition to providing EMS safety and health resources and references, the web page offers a data summary describing nonfatal injuries to EMS practitioners treated in emergency departments.

This web page evolved from a collaborative project between NIOSH and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Office of Emergency Medical Services, focusing on occupational injuries to EMS practitioners. View the page here.
