Board Candidate Submissions Accepted Now through August 15

One benefit of NAEMT membership is the opportunity to become a leader on a national level. Those who meet the qualifications as outlined in the NAEMT Bylaws can run for office on the Board of Directors. From July 15 through August 15, candidate submissions are accepted for 2012 open positions, which include President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary, an At-Large Director position, and Director positions for Regions I, II, III and IV. NAEMT encourages members who qualify to run for office.

NAEMT's Bylaws provide for five officers and 10 directors elected by NAEMT's active members. Eight of these directors represent members in a region of the U.S., while the other two directors are at-large, representing all members. Directors who represent a region must reside within the territorial boundaries of that region.
