Mar 15, 2013

Back by popular demand for its second year, the World Trauma Symposium will be held September 9 in Las Vegas at EMS World Expo. The World Trauma Symposium is brought to you by NAEMT’s PHTLS Committee.

Be sure to attend the symposium – which sold out in 2012 - for the latest updates on global trends in trauma care from internationally recognized experts. Topics will include:

  • The European Approach to Prehospital Care: Rapid Transport vs. Field Treatment
  • Mass Shootings Response: Crime Scene Preservation vs. Patient Care
  • Transforming Military Care into Civilian Protocols
  • The Use of Blood Products During EMS Transport

Attendees receive eight hours of CECBEMS-accredited CE, CME or nursing continuing education credits.

At the symposium, you can network with emergency physicians, nurses, paramedics and other EMS professionals from across the nation and world – plus, breakfast, lunch and an evening reception are included in the full program registration fee.
