EMS Week is quickly approaching. This special week provides a great opportunity to share with members of Congress and their staff (and state and local representatives) the importance and essential function of EMS within their district and state. Invite your members of Congress and their staff to partake in your agency’s activities and/or invite them for a ride-along. Their presence will allow them to see first-hand how EMS services the community and is an asset. It will also provide you with a platform to discuss important legislative issues, like the Field EMS Bill (#FieldEMSbill). 
 
Engage your grassroots network to invite their members of Congress. Let’s get Congress and their staff out to every agency during EMS Week!
