We are pleased to report that H.R. 1818, the Veterans Emergency Medical Technician Support Act of 2016 introduced by Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) and Rep. Lois Capps (D-CA) was included in the House/Senate conference report to S. 524, the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA).

The comprehensive legislation which included the language in the Veterans Transition Act overwhelmingly passed the House and Senate and is now headed to the President’s desk for his signature.
