NAEMT congratulates the following recipients of scholarships awarded on June 15th.

• First Responder to EMT-B (up to $500): Christian Ventura (Manalapan, NJ)
• EMT to Paramedic (up to $5,000): Alexandra Zahlout (Mount Sinai, NY) and Penny Simmons (Louisville, OH)
• Paramedic to Advanced EMS (up to $2,000): Charles McLeod (Virginia Beach, VA)

More than $37,000 in scholarships are awarded each year. Full NAEMT members are encouraged to apply for NAEMT's EMS scholarships of up to $5,000 by September 15th, or Columbia Southern University scholarship for one online degree program by October 31st. And don’t forget…NAEMT members receive a 15% tuition discount on online courses at Columbia Southern University.
