TECC teaches EMS practitioners at all levels how to respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment. The course includes lessons for each component of the MARCH assessment; immediate action drills for tourniquet application; pediatric casualty care; and all-new patient simulations, including a final, mass-casualty, active shooter event. TECC course meets the updated TEMS Competency Domains and is consistent with the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC) guidelines.
